Reality star Jack Fincham has been sentenced to six weeks in prison for offences related to his "out of control" Cane Corso after it attacked a man.The ex-Love Island champion, who won Season 4 with Dani Dyer, daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, found himself in legal trouble after his Cane Corso, Elvis, bit a runner in Grays, Essex, last June, without causing injury.
On September 23, 2022, a subsequent attack occurred when the dog injured Robert Sudell in Swanley, Kent, as reported by the court records.
Fincham was ordered to pay £3580 to the courts in addition to his jailtime. This amount includes a £200 compensation fee to one victim as well as a £50 fee to another.
Upon his release from prison, Jack has agreed to pay £400 per month as part of a court-structured payment plan. Fincham previously drew criticism when he acquired a Doberman with cropped ears from Russia in 2021 – a practice illegal in the UK that is often done to give dogs a tougher appearance.Posting a video response on Instagram at the time, Jack said he "absolutely does not condone" dog ear cropping.
