Love Island star has lucky escape as £200k car explodes into flames while driving

Former Love Island star Danny Bibby had a narrow escape when his flashy supercar erupted into flames mid-drive.The 28 year old reality star said he was driving at 30mph in his McLaren 720S, valued at about £220,000, when suddenly the rear of his 'dream car' ignited.

In a dramatic turn, despite racing for his fire extinguisher, the whole vehicle ended up 'exploding in his face.' Danny shared shocking footage of the blazing car on his Instagram Stories, managing to crack a joke amidst the frightening ordeal.

Alongside the shock clip, he quipped: "'Have you got anything to put that out with?' Ye mate here, just letting it burn to the ground for a laugh innit." In another clip, he said: "Mate imagine my nephew was still with me wow." Danny recounted the scary ordeal in a video after worried messages, recounting: "I was just driving about 30mph and then next minute the car changed gear and the back end was just on fire.

I pulled over, ran to the fire extinguisher", reports the Mirror. He went on: "As I'm putting the fire extinguisher, the car exploded in my face and basically I just had to sit and watch my dream car just burn to the ground and everyone just sat there and watched it.
