While she may have returned to the small screen this weekend with new show You Bet!, Holly Willoughby has been taking a time out in real life as she headed to Mauritius for a girls' trip with close pal Nicole Appleton and their two friends, Kate Lawton and Shiarra Bell.The group were celebrating All Saints singer Nicole's 50th birthday with the lavish trip - which saw Holly, 43, and Nicole let their hair down in the winter sun.

Staying at the 5-star Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, which begins at £900 a night for their stunning two bedroom villas, the group took in some stunning views as they shared snaps from the residence.They headed out on a luxurious chartered yacht trip on one of the days, and were also seen enjoying a specially delivered breakfast platter in their private pool on another.

Sipping on cocktails and enjoying dinners out, it seems that Holly, Nicole and their pals were transported into complete relaxation mode.

Putting together an Instagram reel of the holiday, Holly shared clips of the group taking in all the island has to offer. Sharing the reel with her 8.3 million followers on the platform, Holly wished Nicole - who turned 50 on Saturday (7 December) - a happy birthday.
