mirror.co.ukA man who claims he is "the chosen one" has been cleared of attempted murder by reason of insanity after stabbing three passers by in a random attack.
Troubled Benjamin Bridgeman believed he was sent to save the world and knifed three men while on a rollerskater in February.
The one-armed man, diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder aged 17, was eventually Tasered by police in Bristol. The Bristol Post report that the 38-year-old has dabbled in recreational drug use since his early teens.
He won't face prison despite admitting the attack and his family thanked the jury for their understanding and compassion. Bristol Crown Court heard he he 'became convinced he was in a world of good and bad people, pitched in battle, and his family
