A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after four people were stabbed close to a pub in Plymouth. The victims were rushed to hospital following the attack, which happened at around 10pm.
Their attacker fled the scene, prompting a huge police search in the city in Devon. A 50-year-old suspect was later arrested during a traffic stop in Exeter after armed police raided an address in Plymouth.
None of the victims are said to have suffered life-threatening injuries. A local told ITV that residents were told to lock their doors.
The witness said: "I live on Albert Road and drove home to find it closed but explained I lived here. "I was told to go in and lock doors.
