Influencer describes frightening ordeal after being dragged and assaulted outside Manchester bar

A young woman says she felt ‘helpless’ after she was assaulted during a private party at a bar in Manchester. Shania Safaray has been left with bruises on her body following the incident that took place in the early hours of Thursday morning (October 31).

The influencer says she was at an exclusive event at the Avan Lounge Restaurant and Shisha Bar on Ducie Street. Cheetham Hill when she was attacked by a man who she was introduced to that night.

The Avan Lounge says it is ‘very sorry to hear about her experience’ and has reached out to Shania to express their sympathy.

Police say an investigation has been launched following the assault and no arrests have been made. Shania says she attended the party with a friend after being invited by another friend of hers.
