Naman Ramachandran India has established WAVES Bazaar, an expansive digital marketplace that aims to break down traditional industry silos and connect professionals across the entire media and entertainment spectrum.

The platform, operating at wavesbazaar.com, aims to function as a comprehensive business hub where entertainment professionals can “network, collaborate and grow their businesses” regardless of geographic location or specific industry segment.

The digital marketplace serves as a precursor to the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), scheduled for May 1-4, 2025, in Mumbai, where many of the virtual connections made through the platform are expected to transform into face-to-face business relationships.

Unlike narrowly focused industry platforms, WAVES Bazaar spans 10 distinct entertainment sectors, creating what organizers describe as “a unified space for film, television, music, gaming, animation, advertising, and emerging tech sectors like XR, AR, and VR.” Film producers can connect with distributors and investors, gaming developers can find animation partners, advertisers can discover media opportunities, and XR innovators can showcase their technologies to potential clients — all within a single ecosystem designed to foster cross-sector collaboration. “Whether you’re a filmmaker searching for a production partner, an advertiser seeking the right platform, a game developer looking for investors, or an artist wanting to showcase your work to global audiences, WAVES Bazaar provides a dynamic space for industry professionals,” states the platform’s mission.
