Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA prolific sex offender who was found with indecent images of children on their device has been jailed. Thomas Quinn, who now identifies as Chloee-May Danvers, appeared at Chester Crown Court today, Monday October 21, where they were sentenced to 40 months in prison.
The 25-year-old, from Chester, had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of making indecent images of children, distributing indecent images of children, attempting sexual communication with a child, breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), attempting to breach a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and failing to comply with the requirements of the sex offenders register.
The case against Danvers began on Monday, July 15, when officers from the Sex Offenders Management Unit attended Danvers’ home address on Housman Close, Chester, as part of the routine checks made to monitor registered sex offenders.
During the visit, officers found two category A indecent images of children in a deleted folder stored on Danvers’ mobile phone.
