US Air Force planes were heard rumbling over parts of north Manchester and Bury on Thursday (October 3) as they swooped low overhead.
The 'incredible' sound of the two Bell Boeing V-22 Ospreys could be heard across parts of the region, including in Salford, Bury and Manchester.
According to the US Air Force website, the tiltrotor aircraft is used to conduct long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions for special operations forces.
