Maths is a notoriously tricky subject, and every year students claim their GCSE exam is getting more and more difficult - and parents comparing the test with the questions they were asked at school.
However today's teens could possibly be right about things getting harder, after exam revision website Save My Exams challenged parents to complete a GCSE maths question.
In shocking results, not one parent answered correctly, proving how difficult some of the exam questions can be for GCSE students, and highlighting how some parents may need to brush up on their numbers, reports the Mirror.
The question didn't diminish parents' confidence, however. Of the 1,000 parents, 92% were unable to answer the question and 8% failed to get the correct answer.Despite this, 75% of those parents still said they could pass their children's exams.
