An iconic Lanarkshire confectionery firm has been bought over in a near £6m deal.Lees of Scotland in Coatbridge has been acquired by Finsbury Food Group.Finsbury Food said it had acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of Lees Foods for a cash amount of £5.7m, on the basis that the historic business is being bought cash and debt-free and with an agreed level of working capital.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
