Councillors delight at preservation of iconic building in Lanarkshire town

Two North Lanarkshire councillors have spoken of their delight at the preservation of an Motherwell town centre building.The SNP’s Motherwell South East and Ravenscraig councillors David Robb and Agnes Magowan were delighted to hear that construction on the new housing development proposed at the former YMCA building Brandon Street is set to start on Monday, February 13.The contractor CCG (Scotland) will be on site for a period of approximately 70 calendar weeks, with an estimated completion date of June 2024.
