Ibrahim Adel has reportedly told Pyramids FC he wants to leave if a bid comes in from Rangers before the deadline. Record Sport understands the Light Blues are aware of the player and are keen on a deal for the winger after he impressed at the Olympics in Paris this summer.
But the 23-year-old is attracting interest from across Europe with Premier League new boys Ipswich and Leicester also understood to be considering an approach for the Egyptian.
It is understood the Light Blues have not made an official approach for the player at this stage – but Adel is said to have made his position clear to his club should a potential suitor meet the supposed £5m valuation placed on him by the Cairo club.
