Ibrahim Adel 'makes' Rangers transfer stance abundantly clear as Kaiky price set and £7m star loan collapses

Ibrahim Adel has reportedly told Pyramids FC he wants to leave if a bid comes in from Rangers before the deadline. Record Sport understands the Light Blues are aware of the player and are keen on a deal for the winger after he impressed at the Olympics in Paris this summer.

But the 23-year-old is attracting interest from across Europe with Premier League new boys Ipswich and Leicester also understood to be considering an approach for the Egyptian.

It is understood the Light Blues have not made an official approach for the player at this stage – but Adel is said to have made his position clear to his club should a potential suitor meet the supposed £5m valuation placed on him by the Cairo club.

According to Al-Watan Sport the player has asked to leave before the European deadline after crunch talks with chief exec Mamdouh Eid - with the club said to still be waiting on offers for their star man.After the departure of Ben Davies a new centre-back is on the Ibrox agenda, and Almeria defender Kaiky has been linked with a move to the Scottish Premiership side.
