express.co.ukI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2019.The Capital Radio presenter finished in third place in the nineteenth series of the popular ITV show.But Roman admitted it was not smooth sailing as he realised he was going to face struggles from the moment he set foot in the jungle.Opening up about missing home, Roman said: “I missed the food.”He continued: “As boring as that sounds, that is the thing.“I mean, we had to put a ban on ourselves from speaking about food, which is I think what everyone does."In two seasons after me, [they] have said the same thing, that you have to ban yourself from talking about food because you can end up just going down a complete wormhole of just talking about that.”Roman was also quick to let out his emotions, with the presenter confessing he cried on the second night over how hard the experience was.He added that nothing had prepared him for the show, which he said was “far worse” than he expected.He said: “The second night, I was crying non-stop.“No one knew.
I was in my sleeping bag and I was just crying being like, ‘Why am I here? This is so much harder than I thought it would be, like by a hundred percent.’“I was like, ‘This is insane.This is far worse than I could have ever imagined.’”Roman went on: “I just didn't like it.
Just I think when you realise that there are rats constantly underneath you and there are snakes constantly underneath you.“And there are the bigger spiders that actually could eat you.
