We headed to Bute Park in the heart of Cardiff for our first family Christmas experience with our six month old – it's the ultimate sensory treat for little ones.The park itself is massive and stunning, but what really took our breath away was the backdrop of Cardiff Castle – dating back to 50AD – which stands majestically in the centre of the Welsh capital.
Before setting off on the dazzling trail, we indulged in some local treats at the small Christmas village within the grounds.
