The globally renowned Edinburgh Christmas Market has once again opened its doors for 2024. Each year, it attracts millions of visitors from all over Scotland and beyond and it's just been crowned the most beautiful in Europe.
It forms part of a winter festival that offers a variety of festive activities for the entire family - from a Christmas Tree Maze at St Andrews Square to an Ice Rink on George Street.
However, the traditional Christmas market at East Princes Street Gardens is arguably its biggest attraction. On Sunday, my partner and I decided to pay it a visit.
Despite it being mid-November and neither of us feeling particularly festive, we thought a stroll around the famous market might get us into the spirit.
