There's a hidden gem near Benidorm that is described as a "secret paradise". It boasts "fancy restaurants", "gorgeous views" and "crystal clear waters" Javea, or Xabia in Valencian, is just a 45-minute drive from the bustling streets of Benidorm along the Costa Blanca, or a two-hour journey on public transport.

The town recently featured in a video tour by local YouTuber 'Benidorm by Ana', who showcased the stunning beach that left her "surprised and impressed".

Ana gushed over Javea's Old Town, with its "historic charm" as well as "narrow streets, squares and distinctive stone buildings".

However, it was the town's pristine beach that she focused on. Ana explained how Javea is unique in the region in that more than half of the town's population are foreigners.
