Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Shoppers in Stirling were subjected to abuse during a “frightening” anti-vaccination rally that saw hundreds protesters make their way through the city in an “unauthorised procession” at the weekend, it has been claimed.

The event was organised to support calls for an end to Covid restrictions and vaccine passports. Protesters gathered at the city’s Kings Park on Saturday before making their way towards the city centre where a section of activists, understood to have been around 200, broke away from the main rally and entered the Thistles shopping centre.Whilst there, it’s claimed that mothers were forced to flee with their children as protesters hurled abuse at onlookers and one demonstrator is even alleged to have snatched a mask from a stranger’s face.However, Police Scotland have said that “no incidents took place and no arrests were made” at the “unauthorised procession”.Chief Inspector Gill Marshall, Area Commander for Stirling, said: “Officers were made aware of a planned protest in Stirling city centre on Saturday, January 15.
