If there's one thing teenagers like it's branded trainers - and they certainly don't come cheap. Gone are the days when the little people in my life would happily skip along in a pair of supermarket own brands.

I did find a better offer, more than £50 cheaper in fact, on the Laced website. Unlike your typical shop, it's one of a number of relatively new online marketplaces that sells items on behalf of third parties.
