'I'm so over this - I'm in so much pain!' Jess Wright shares painful psoriasis battle
ok.co.ukJess Wright has told how her psoriasis has left her ‘in so much pain’ as she shared an update on her sore skin condition. The 37 year old former The Only Way Is Essex star, who appeared on the reality TV show from 2010 until 2016, shared her frustrations with fans on social media by posting an image of her arm suffering from a flare-up.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: “And sooo over it. F**k you psoriasis. Not even sorry for my language.” Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition that causes raised scaly patches on the skin which form itchy, flaky scales.
It's usually the result of skin cells replacing themselves faster than they should. In the UK, one in 50 people are affected, with the symptoms ranging from mild irritation to extreme pain.
Kim Kardashian, Strictly's Alijaz Skorjanec, Malin Andersson and Love Island star Olivia Bowen are among other celebs who suffer from the condition.
