Police descended on The De Traffords at around 2am this morning (Saturday) after reports that a woman had been stabbed. She is understood to have received a minor injury.
No more details about the incident have been released by Greater Manchester Police. Residents reported seeing a large police presence in the area shortly after 2am.
A police cordon was erected on the residential street, which consists mainly of sheltered accommodation housing for the elderly.
