It was an emotional episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on Wednesday night (20 November) as Danny Jones opened up about his mental health battles. The topic came to light as he explained what his different tattoos meant and pointed to one which reflected his anxiety.

During the episode, the stars of this year's I'm A Celeb gathered around the campfire as they got to know each other on a deeper level, having arrived in the jungle just a few days ago.The conversation turned to McFly singer Danny's tattoos after Loose Women star Jane Moore quizzed him about their meanings.

Reading one on his chest, Danny said: "The day’s worthwhile when you make someone smile," which he revealed is what is Grandad always said. This led Jane to share her own tattoo story as she confessed: "When I was about 18, I thought I’m gonna get a bluebird on my bum. They just did the outline and I went ‘too painful, thanks’, and I just left. "So I’ve just got this outline.

It's like a golden eagle now because my arse has got bigger!" Laughter filled the camp Down Under before Danny pointed to the tattoo on his wrist, which read: "Don't worry, be happy." He explained: "It’s because I’m always constantly worrying, but that’s what I’m working on." Asking if he’s ever been in therapy, Danny replied: "Yeah, I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety." The McFly star recalled that he suffered a panic attack on live TV as he shared: "I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me." He explained that he felt the camera on him, went white and felt like he was going to be sick, as he added: "heart rate goes crazy".
