I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Maura Higgins was left in tears after facing her fears during the latest Bushtucker Trial.The Love Island contestant, who was a late entrant to the jungle, joined forces with Loose Women ’s Jane Moore as they took part in a joint trial which saw them take on the Fright At The End of The Tunnel.

As part of Tuesday’s challenge, Jane was based in a water based tunnel while Maura was in a tunnel above ground and faced toads, lizards, and her worst fear - spiders - as she made her way through the tunnel.

In turn the pair ended up securing six out out of 12 stars for camp, and were praised by Ant and Dec who called it a “very, very tough Trial”.

Despite winning half of the stars, some fans at home criticised Jane’s performance in the task after her goggles steamed up and she struggled to keep her head down underwater. “Jane’s as bad as Dean with her lack of contribution.
