The 62-year-old television personality was given the chore alongside fellow campmate Tulisa. It proved to be a difficult choice for camp leaders Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan, who had spent considerable time deciding who would be assigned which duties in the jungle.

Danny and Barry had contemplated whether they had allocated some of the more strenuous tasks to the male members of the group but didn't believe Jane would object to being put on washing up duty.
