Boy George, 61, admitted in front of his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates tonight that he was forced to apologise to Victoria Beckham, 48, following a headline-making tweet he sent out.
Back in June, the Culture Club singer complained about the star getting “preferential treatment” after the pair were alighting a British Airways flight.
This summer, the Karma Chameleon singer made headlines after he vowed to "boycott" British Airways as he accused them of "leaving everyone in first class waiting", while Victoria was "picked up at the aircraft".The pop star took to Twitter to call out the airline, which he threatened to “avoid for a while” because of the way he claimed he was treated.Speaking to comedian Seann Walsh this evening, Boy George said: “There was an article in the paper about when I had my funny little spat with Posh Spice on BA.
Did you see it?"“Shut up!” Seann replied in shock, as the musician continued: “You know when you’ve been on a long flight? “You wake up and you’re in a grumpy mood and you’re trying to get off the plane. “And they take Posh Spice off before you,” he said of former Spice Girl Victoria. “I was like, ‘Why are we all having to wait?!’“‘She just walked off the plane - I could have gone with her!’” he added with a laugh.“I do that a lot where I’ll tweet something and then just go ‘Why did I tweet that?’“So I said to my friend who knows her, ‘Just tell her I’m so sorry.’ “I didn’t realise that she’d paid extra for concierge service,” Boy George added as he covered his face with his hands in embarrassment.
