A woman has opened up about her unexpected love story with her supermarket delivery driver. Jane Crompton, a mum-of-two from Stalybridge, Manchester, was taken aback when she found herself smitten with her Tesco delivery driver, Jonathan.

Despite being in a relationship at the time, Jane couldn't shake her feelings for him. "I couldn't stop myself gaping at him, as he was drop-dead gorgeous," she confessed. "As our eyes met, I felt suddenly flustered and a bit speechless." Jane tried to put her feelings aside until one day she noticed his relationship status on Facebook had changed to single. "I hadn't felt butterflies like that since my divorce; it was unreal," she admitted. "It truly was like love at first sight and I really didn't know what to do with myself.

I was like a giggling schoolgirl. But it wasn't the right time for us, as I later found out, he was in a long-term relationship.
