In just a few days, the shutters are set to go down one final time at the Crowded House in Bury. It's more than just a restaurant to the family behind it who have spent a decade pouring their heart into running the homely local spot.
Its owners, Johanne and Dave Banks, said the 'odds are so stacked against us' as they announced the closure in an emotional post earlier in January.
It will leave behind another vacant space on Manchester Road; a reminder of the popular eatery that was once brimming with tables and smiling faces.
