Hustings event to take place featuring Rutherglen's General Election candidates

A hustings event will take place in Cambuslang tomorrow featuring the candidates for the Rutherglen seat at this year’s General Election.Before Rutherglen constituents take to the polls on Thursday, they will have the chance to ask questions to and hear from a variety of candidates on Tuesday, July 2, at 6.30pm in North Halfway Hall.Attending the hustings will be Labour's Michael Shanks, Gloria Adebo of the Liberal Democrats, David Stark of Reform UK, John McArthur of the Scottish Family Party and Gary Burns of the Conservatives.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
