Hunt on for 'hooded man' after Rutherglen petrol station robbery

Officers are searching for a hooded man following following a robbery at a petrol station in Rutherglen.Cops are appealing for information on the incident that happened at around 7.05am on Saturday, May 25, on Stonelaw Road.No-one was injured, however a number of items were stolen.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

He was wearing a blue hooded jacket, black jogging bottoms, black trainers and a black scarf.Detective Constable Ashley Hind said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0823 of May 25, 2024.
