HIS last appearance at The Brit Awards saw Lewis Capaldi heavily censored by telly bosses after he gave an impromptu speech while dishing out a gong to Dua Lipa.
So I would advise them to warm up their bleeping machine, after the Scottish singer was booked to sing at the bash. Lewis confirmed to me he was the final act to be confirmed as a performer for the Brit Awards on 11 February at London’s O2 Arena.
He said: “Last time I played The Brit Awards I was so scared that I had a panic attack before I went on, and then got hammered afterwards. “Looking forward to more of the same this year.” Lewis will be performing alongside stars including, Harry Styles, Sam Smith and Kim Petras, Lizzo, Stormzy, Wet Leg, Cat Burns and David Guetta – who will perform his hit track Crazy What Love Can Do with his collaborators Becky Hill and Ella Henderson.
