Scotland tonight in a spectacular sight for skygazers. August's ' sturgeon moon' will shine its brightest on Monday night when it reaches its peak - and it's not an event to be missed.
The eighth full moon of the year takes its name from Native American folklore when tribes would catch sturgeon fish in the river during the month of August.
The full moon also goes by other names, including the 'Barley Moon,' 'Green Corn Moon', 'Fruit Moon' or 'Grain Moon', as it is also sometimes referred to in the UK.
