An outdoor cinema is coming to Bolton for one day only this summer, with screenings of some classic favourites - both new and old.

The ‘Day at the Movies’ is being held on Saturday 13th June, at Bolton Arena . The day will begin with a showing of the new Aladdin at 10am, followed by the original Mary Poppins in the late afternoon.

The last film might be a more grown-up affair, with the timeless romantic drama, Dirty Dancing, being screened at 7pm. Throughout the day there will be a number of vendors on-site, serving burgers, popcorn, nachos, pick ‘n’ mix and many more cinema treats.

An array of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and hot drinks will also be available. To keep the kids happy, there is also an expected meet and greet with Mary
