M8 in Glasgow.Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on the eastbound carriageway near Great Western Road at around 2.41pm on Sunday.Shocking pictures from the scene show a huge ball of flames engulfing one of the vehicles.A thick plume of black smoke billowed into the air as firefighters tackled the raging flames.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on the M8 near Greater Western Road.“The call came in at 14.41 and we are currently still in attendance.”It is not clear if anyone has been injured.A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called around 2.45pm on Sunday, 18 October, 2020, following the report of a car colliding with the central barrier on the M8 Eastbound at.
