A huge brawl broke out at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool at the weekender - with one man punched in the face. The fight broke out on Saturday (December 9) during Becher Chase day at the famous racecourse.

Horses can be seen racing on screens in the background of the incident while punches are thrown and men are kicked. The video which has been viewed more than a million times on social media, shows multiple men fighting while security G4S security guards look on.

Some men appear to be trying to break up the fight but it spills out from the stand into the stairwell, reports the Liverpool Echo. A spokesperson for the Jockey Club said: "We are passionate about providing safe and enjoyable experiences for all on our racecourses and operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of anti-social behaviour. "There was an isolated instance of such behaviour which was dealt with by our security teams.
