East Ayrshire have hit the back of the net for charity. Due to Covid lockdown restrictions, boys from both Galston YFC 2009s and Hurlford Athletic 2009s have been unable to practice or play football.In order to keep themselves fit, they decided to complete a sponsored walk, jog or run and, ultimately, covered the equivalent from Land’s End to John O’Groats and raised the fantastic sum of £1,200.Several good causes benefited and one of the organisations was The Friendship Club at Galston, who received £420.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus features, football news and the latest on the coronavirus crisis – at your fingertips 24/7.The free download features the latest breaking news.
