But it doesn’t get any easier for the Norwegian, with another tough test against Atalanta on Tuesday night. It’s a game he or the club can’t afford to lose, with his job still not 100 per cent secure and qualification from Group F not guaranteed just yet.
Victory will edge them closer to the knockout stages but after the last time the two sides met, Atalanta were 2-0 up at half-time before succumbing to a 3-2 defeat, nothing can be taken for granted when the two sides meet at the Gewiss Stadium.
