‘How to Train Your Dragon,’ ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Among Titles Coming to HDR by Barco Cinemas

variety.comCarolyn Giardina At least a dozen 2025 movies will be mastered for the newly-launched HDR by Barco laser projectors, the cinema tech developer revealed at CinemaCon.
They include Universal’s “How to Train Your Dragon,” which opens June 13 and received an enthusiastic reception when it premiered Wednesday at the theater owners confab.
In addition to dragons, Universal is bringing dinosaurs to the format. “Jurassic World Rebirth,” which opens July 2, will also get an HDR by Barco release.
The next film in the franchise stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali. This week Barco also revealed that Sony’s “Karate Kid: Legends” and “28 Years Later” will have HDR by Barco releases.
