No wonder they don’t react well once they get home, are plonked to one side, and left to manage with a 60-watt bulb.I’ve rarely found the soil of a supermarket herb to be anything other than sodden.
This ensures a lack of wilt on the shelf, but means that it’s really easy to drown the poor things once you get them home.All in all, if your supermarket herb dies, it wasn’t your fault: it was its destiny.
