Now that it has been confirmed the UK will host next year's Eurovision song contest, many Brits will likely be rushing to get their hands on a ticket.

It comes after it was revealed that Ukraine would be unable to host the contest in 2023 due to the ongoing conflict and safety standards.

The European Broadcast Union and the BBC have both said the UK will take over hosting the contest, replacing Ukraine. Speaking on Twitter, the BBC said: "It is a matter of great regret that our colleagues and friends in Ukraine are not able to host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
