The former Manchester United star, signed for the French giants from Old Trafford after an unsuccessful stint with the Reds back in 2017.
United had the option of a buy-back clause and could have brought him back to Old Trafford but opted against it. Following his departure from Old Trafford, Depay bounced back strong in France.
He scored 22 goals and registered 12 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for the club last season. His total tally at Lyon amounted to 178 games, 76 goals and 55 assists.
