Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Have you ever wondered where you should head for a budget night out? Luckily, a study carried out by personal finance site Finder.com looked into exactly how much is it likely to cost you if you head down the pub for a beer in the cities across the UK.

The price of a pint varies across different cities in Scotland and the UK, with a pint of lager ranging from £3 to a whopping £6 - the average cost is £3.86.Based on 2021 pint prices, the research found that there was quite a range when it comes to pounds per pint.

In terms of Scotland's prices, The Scottish capital was named the most expensive city for a pint with an average of £4.55 in Edinburgh.

At the other end of the scale, Perth offered the cheapest pint averaging £3.07 - according to the research. In terms of the UK as a whole, quite a few of Scotland's areas were found to be cheaper than cities across England.Topping the list for the most expensive pint was London.It may seem pretty obvious that the UK's capital city came out on top, with an average of £5.50 a pint - 95p more than Edinburgh.Brighton is also pretty dear for a pint, costing £4.83 on average.Bristol and Cambridge were also found to be on the dear side with an average pint costing £4.50 and £4.51.On the other hand, if you are after a cheaper night out you should be heading to Wales as Swansea and Cardiff listed as pretty good value per pint.It will cost you roughly £3.26 in Swansea and around £3.46 in Cardiff for a pint of your favourite lager or ale.Other cheaper options include Peterborough, Preston and StokeYou'll be knocked back £3.28, £3.32 and £3.33 respectively if popping to the pub in these areas.
