Liverpool could end up in the unusual situation of clinching the Premier League title against rivals Everton, in Manchester.
That scenario has now come into play after the latest proposals to finish the top flight season were drawn up on Thursday. The 20 Premier League clubs have finally decided on June 17 as the date for the campaign to restart and the remaining 92 games will now be completed.
But with police still adamant that they want high profile matches to be played at neutral venues, the Reds could could win the title playing in one.
Jurgen Klopp ’s men are due to play Merseyside rivals Everton on the first weekend of the restart but this is classed as a high profile game.
