Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.A housing developer is to start work on a new estate in West Lothian.The new family-friendly development in Winchburgh will have 74 four and five-bedroom properties.CALA Homes (East) will begin the works after purchasing the land as part of the major Winchburgh masterplan.The Oakbank location will offer a collection of family homes at the eastern edge of the expanding West Lothian village.The wider masterplan is creating a community of 3,800 homes, including 750 affordable, major investment in transport links, a school campus including primary and secondary schools, a new canal marina, 40 acres of employment land as well as the new £6 million.
