Horror moment pedestrian hit by car while trying to protect Scots home during floods
dailyrecord.co.ukThis is the horror moment when a pedestrian was hit by a car while trying to protect his home from floods. Police have launched a probe after the incident happened on Glasgow Road in Dumbarton at around 12.30pm on Saturday.
In the clip a resident can be seen leaving her flat as she begins to film a commotion on the street.Cars can be seen slowly passing down the flooded street as the torrential rain continues to batter the town.
A horn can then be heard beeping before a person screams, as a man is thrown to the ground after being knocked down by a car.The resident filming can be heard saying "wow, wow" as the driver continues up the street.
The car then stops at a set of traffic lights before the man who was knocked down comes running towards it.Another eyewitness can be heard shouting "get him out of that motor".
