Five people have been rushed to hospital after a horror fireball crash between a car and a bus in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to the scene on Cowcaddens Road shortly after 6am on Thursday, June 30.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances to tackle the blaze with one crew remaining at the scene shortly before 8am.
It is understood that the wrecked motor is now being removed from the road while officers remain in attendance. Police say that all five injured people were travelling in the motor.
It is not currently known whether the bus was carrying any passengers at the time of the collision. The road remains closed between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street.
