A child has been washed 100ft down a waterfall in Wales after slipping during a day out with family. The youngster fell while visiting the Ceunant Mawr Waterfall in Llanberis on the edge of popular destination Snowdonia. 'Shouting' was heard as the child was washed down into the pool below as bystanders desperately tried to help them.
A member of the public jumped into the pool beneath the steep waterfall to drag them out before emergency services arrived, reports North Wales Live.
Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team said one of their team members was out near the waterfall when they heard "a lot of shouting and commotion".
