A homeowner who was ordered to reduce the height of her garden fence used the same guidelines to get gloriously petty revenge on her neighbours.
When a county rule was used to force Donna Yopp Paul to shave off about two feet from the height of the fence, she did as she was told - before citing another rule which gave her freedom to paint it any colour she desired.
As a result, the neighbours who complained about the height of her fence got their wish, but now have to look at the neon green, purple, pink and yellow colours instead.
Donna doesn't have to look at it, as the side facing her home in Georgia, US, is painted a nice blue/grey shade - it's only the side facing her neighbours which has been given the multi-colour makeover.
