Christmas Day to remember for one boy who turned up at a police station carrying just a black bin bag.The anonymous 12-year-old arrived at Radford Road police station in Nottingham a few weeks ago, and his plight left an indelible impression on officers – so they joined together and bought him £130s worth of gifts to make sure that he had presents to open yesterday.He was presented with them on Wednesday evening, with items including a football kit, golf putting set, a jumper, toiletries and other gifts donated from officers, the Daily Mail reports.Constable Megan Barnard said: “As officers, it's sometimes very easy to forget about an incident as we have to move so quickly onto the next and sometimes that's the only way we can cope with.
