metro.co.ukMacaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are starting their year off with joyous news as the couple are reportedly engaged. The Home Alone star welcomed his first child with his longtime girlfriend and Secret Obsession actress just last year.
Now sources have told People the happy couple are set to marry and Brenda, 33, was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while running errands in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday.
It will be Brenda’s first marriage but the second for Macaulay, who was married to Rachel Miner from 1998 to 2002. Macaulay, 41, and Brenda became first-time parents in April 2021 with the arrival of their son Dakota.
The pair announced the news in a brief statement, saying: ‘We’re overjoyed.’ The couple are typically private about their relationship but Brenda did share sweet words about the actor to mark his 40th birthday in August 2020, writing in an Instagram post: ‘Happy 40th birthday to this magical being. ‘I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you. ‘But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won’t even see this because you don’t ever use instagram.
