The nail-biting footage – recorded off the coast of Sarasota, Florida – shows a large shark surface next to the boat, leaving a giant splash in its wake.
Its telltale tooth-shaped fin pokes menacingly through the water as the apex predator makes a pass of the fishing vessel, while the men onboard express their shock. "Holy c***!" shouts one."What the hell was that?" asks another in confusion.The great white shark then vanishes from view, with the water calm where it had been thrashing just moments.
